  • Agencia Informativa Púlsar – Latinoamérica
    Pulsar began in March 1996 to provide independent and community radio stations in Latin America with local news stories, public service advertisements and other information useful to civil society. It was the first initiative of its kind in Latin America. From 38 subscribers, Pulsar grew to more than 1,000 subscribers in 2 years, Most are radio stations, but some are NGOs and individuals that use the information for different purposes - news, teaching, political analysis, etc. All services are provided free of charge.
  • Journalists Against Corruption - Periodistas Frente a la Corrupción (PFC) - Latin America
    PFC is a regional anti-corruption project that strengthens democratisation processes in Latin America by "promoting and facilitating quality and ethical watchdog journalism and supporting journalists and media dedicated to investigating and exposing waste, unethical conduct and corruption in government and other parts of society." PFC is an arm of Probidad / Probity
  • LaNeta – Mexico
    Civil organization created as an electronic communications service for non-governmental organizations, other non-profit organizations, and agencies linked to working with these. LaNeta's experience is focused on the non-governmental sector. As an APC Mexican node, LaNeta enables national NGOs linking with others in more than 30 countries. Likewise, it offers information from the experiences that organizations around the world develop in a great variety of fields.
  • On-line Information System for Rural Development - SILDER (Sistema de Información en Línea para el Desarrollo Rural)
    A platform with three databases and information in Internet for all organizations and persons interested in rural development in Latin America and the Caribbean: Information Base for Persons: potential service proposals, peasants, professionals, technicians, and experts; Information Base for Institutions: public, private, and social organizations associated with rural development; Information Base for Publications: distinct types of publications and place the complete texts may be obtained.
  • Press Room (Sala de Prensa) – Mexico
    On-line non-profit network sustained individually by journalists, professionals, and academics from 23 countries in the Americas and Europe. It offers journalists the possibility to accede, without cost, to on-line information resources, to query databases, to participate in international forums, to update themselves in the use of new technologies, to broaden their bibliographical knowledge, and to exchange experiences and resources to develop their own knowledge and skills.

    Radio Netherlands is a multimedia organization that covers regional developments in areas of the world without free media. Radio Netherlands focuses on providing relevant programming. They continually examine the media landscape of their targets, looking for ways to complement what is already there and design the best balance of radio, television and Internet programming to be effective.

    A portal specialized in Communication and directed to the nations of Spanish and Portuguese languages, that constitute the Iberoamérica cultural space. Is an academic initiative, of the Journalism Department at Malaga University (Spain). Infoamérica defends the democratic culture values and promotes the full exercise of the freedom of press and the right to the information in Iberoamérica. Infoamérica wants to become the biggest platform of contents in Spanish and Portuguese languages on Media, Communication, academic aspects, etc.
